We recently took a trip out to see a few of the bands on Fizzkicks.com perform live. Our first stop was in Nashville, TN where we saw Tyrone Vaughan and his band blow away the crowd with his music. Man...what a show! We can't forget the amazing rock show put on each night by Spit Fifty during the Warped Tour of '06!

During our time, we learned from a lot of bands how they are using their music cards. Bands such as Cavalcade are using them to help sell their merchandise and promote their shows. Ryan Wilson of Cavalcade told Fizzkicks, "We use our music cards to get people to our shows. We used to give out CDs, but now we make our music cards with show times and venue information on it. Beside that, they get a free download!"

Another great idea was from the band Mindstrap. Drummer Mike Warren, says "We use our music cards as a value add to our merchandise. When a fan buys a t-shirt, we give them a free downloads. Once they download one of our songs, they generally buy additional songs from our Fizzkick profile page."

Singer song / writer Dana Varon says she has been making a variety of music cards and lays them out on her merchandise table. "It is great because some music cards I sell for $1.00, $2.00 and $5.00. Depending on how much money a fan has on them after a night of drinking, I usually have a music card that they can afford."
