Marlon lies on his bed and thinks about his life and comes up with lyrics and melodies. Growing up in the Midwest of the United States, Classical, Jazz, and New Age music could always be heard drifting from the speakers of Adam von Baron's family stereos. As a teenager, he listened hungrily to his mother's cassette tapes of Andreas Vollenweider the New Age harpist and his father's Jazz records by Herbie Hancock, Bob James, and Sergio Mendez.
