Joey Stuckey is an award-winning blind guitarist, songwriter, singer, composer, producer, radio personality, teacher, and sound engineer. Stuckey lost his sight and sense of smell as an infant as the result of a brain tumor. Despite these limitations, he remained in mainstream education. Scholastically outstanding, Joey Stuckey graduated from high school at the age of 14.
Although he classifies himself as a New Age recording artist, Balint's compositions draw from a breadth of jazz, pop and classical influences. John uses piano, synthesizer, voice and percussion to create spacious arrangements that invite the listener to connect with the beauty of the moment. Listeners note that his music has a "cinematic" or "panoramic" quality--it'd be right at home in an epic motion picture.
